Blackadder The Third

Every morning at 7 o’clock I’d be up.Why you ask?To catch the early morning episode of Mr.Bean.

I was around twelve when Mr.Bean had become my obsession!I absolutely adored the character.So much so,I found a way to get the entire series in a DVD.

Being a psycho maniac,I lost count of how many times I watched the series.At the end,there was an interview of Rowan Atkinson,the mastermind behind the character.As,I begun to watch it,I came across the anther sitcom he was a part of by the name ‘Blackadder’.

The thought that such a creative individual was a part of another sitcom,gathered my interest.

For years,I tried to figure out a way to get its episodes,but I was unsuccessful.In the end,when I had lost all hope, Torrent came to my rescue.My happiness had no bounds.

There was then and there is now.Nothing has replaced my love for Blackadder.It is without a doubt one of the finest series in British comedy.

Blackadder not only introduced me to sarcasm as a genre but also discover great talents such as Stephen Fry,Hugh Laurie and Miranda Richardson.

In a way to pay respect to my all time favorite sitcom,I drew a sketch of Edmand Blackadder in his fine three piece Butler attire.

This was my very first attempt at sketching and I hope to get better as time passes by 🙂
