Rolls in that time of the year again.
Guys purchasing pretty pink presents.
Posting lovey dovey cheesy pictures on their social media.
Kisses and hugs everywhere.
Furry stuffed animals and chocolate cake.
I may be a very emotional human being but the concept of Valentine’s Day is cheesier than any other Bollywood movie.
My allergy to anything fake makes me cringe. The thought that you need a special day to express love when indeed everyday is to love and cherish your significant other is annoying.
It’s just an excuse to burn loads of money on shallow and materialistic things.
Sadly, that is what’s left of it.
Being in the forever alone category,to me most of it seems like froth and tiny bit of ice cream. If there was enough love, there would be no reason to flaunt it.Every relationship has its good times and bad.Nothing is perfect.
So,as a reminder that everything in this world is just an illusion, things and objects posessing nothing in reality,I made this piece.
To everyone out there who feel sad or lonely because you don’t have a valentine, you don’t need to feel any hurt or pain. It’s not as fancy as it might seem.So don’t be sad. There is much more to life than being in a relationship.
Nothing can make you want love as long as you are in love with yourself. You choose to be happy,no matter what the circumstances be.
Remember ‘Sab Moh Maya Hai’. 😀
sab kuch bhul jav…

Nice post you’ve got there!
Check this similar one. 🙂
“Most of us try to satiate the urge by ‘falling‘ for someone.
This is the most delusional and damaging action we can undertake! Because no degree of outer affection and care and love can ever fill that empty pitcher we carry within our self.”

Thank you!
Exactly!People keep trying to find someone else to bring happiness to them. Most people I know are in love because they get love in return not really to love some one.I’ve reached a place where I’v thrown away that pitcher.Totally had enough of it!

That’s correct, Aditi. People love love, not the person. And we have all been victims of the delusional emotions we called “love” for a long time. Gladly, that’s not the case now! 🙂

Still the case with many

😀 😀 thank you!
I get so annoyed with cheesy pictures and weird captions.
Love isn’t about showing off.Atleast us ,random people in their lives, don’t need to see your intimacy. Some things are meant to be private.

I agree love abstain from showy attributes ..but then may b we r a bit from the primitive standards :D…..like the Adele’s songs kind 😛

Not just primitive, more private.Looking for attention can never be ‘in’. 😛

Dream delivers us to dream, and there is no end to illusion. Life is like a train of moods like a string of beads, and, as we pass through them, they prove to be many-colored lenses which paint the world their own hue. . . .

Absolutely.
Sadly, people forget their journey is to be more than what color the bead is,rather how colorful one makes it.
Being controlled by the outside, materialistic world, seems to make us slaves.

You’re right Aditi, it’s an unfair materialistic world out there and only a few people have the wisdom of discerning it.

Well, I am a romance protagonist, and celebrate all Valentines days like Gandhi Jayanti with dedication, planning and efforts. True, you can love yourself everyday and so on. But, its a day to pick some roses, express yourself, surprise and bring smile etc. And be it fake, but it works wonders and brings new waves in stagnant relationships. Belated fundabaazi, nevertheless Happy Valentines!

I’d still choose some other that that isn’t expected! 😛
It’s not a surprise if it’s a day dedicated to love, but more of an expectation.
If you plan something special on some other day,the happiness would be multiplied.
Thank you 😀

Hello Aditi, hope you are doing great. I completely agree with your thoughts here. I have kept myself away from these romantic relationship, got just enough time for myself ☺ and ‘sab moh Maya hae’, bilkul Sahi kaha. Don’t need a special day to express your love for someone. Valentine day was not enough so they came up with weird 7 days before and 7 more days after. Chocolate day…Hug day…hahha 😂😂😂. I missed your posts, was away from my blog for a while but now will be back to my regular schedule so hopefully more posts from my side. Take care and keep up the creative work, I love the unique ideas you come up with 😊.

Exactly, I had good laugh that day making fun on my friends. Thank you very much, I am also glad to be back and will get back to writing soon. I missed your work too, always wonderful to see the beautiful things that you make. I love how you don’t just post the end product but rather show the process of making it. Just have few interviews to take care of for medical schools then I will have time to post frequently.
