Hearts and lights

The festival of lights is only a week away.

With all the decorations and lighting,people are working hard on beautifying their homes.So I decided why not make a beautiful glass candle and make my mom happy? 😀

Here’s an easy DIY to brighten up your home this Diwali!

Things you’ll need :

1.A glass jar or a fish bowl.(Any jar glass jar to facilitate the entry of your hand).

2. An A4 size sheet of paper.

3.A pair of scissors.

5.Fevicol or Mod Podge.

6.A glitter of your choice.

Process :

1.Cut out a shape large enough to cover the height of the jar.I made a heart cut out.

2.Carefully place the heart inside the jar to check how will it fits.

3.Glue the heart to the inside of the jar with fevicol.

4.Now,coat the inside with a fair amount of glue,leaving the heart as it is.

5.Invert the glitter bowl into the jar and flip the jar upside down to get rid of the excess glitter.

6.Remove the heart very carefully.

This is what the final product should look like

This can alternatively used as a Valentines Day decoration piece as well!
